Ali came to us on December 15th December, 2004. Her official pedigree name is Mery Kysucka hviezda, but at home, we call her "Ali". Ali came from Slovakia, from the kennel of Mr. Stefan Malik and she was born on 1st November 2004.
With Ali´s arrival to our home, the long-timed peaceful life was gone for good. There was not a place, where to hide in front of the wild puppy. There was not a thing, which the beast would not steal and check with her needle-sharp teeth. Shoes, socks, towels and kitchen rags were among her most loved and often destroyed items. She also loved to train her teeth and jaw strength on our hands and feet.
From the wild puppy Ali grew up into beautiful wolfdog. She is still quite crazy, but now that she is five years old, she is beginning to calm down. She is also good in the training and her first few appearances at dog shows were successful, too. For the future, we planed to try to pass some working tests, as well as to visit some more dog shows, events and generally participate in the "wolfdog activities" of all sorts . Unfortunatelly, disaster in the form of heavy hip dysplasia has ended all our hopes for any sportive activities with Ali, as well as dog shows.
Ali´s biggest passion is food, of that can be no doubts. She lives to eat, her dinner is the highlight of the day and she is never full. Sometimes she makes us think, that she in fact is not a dog, but just a life support for her stomach. :)
