Cira was born on November 2, 1998 at hunters lodge at Teresov, together with eight other puppies. Originally I wanted to buy a male puppy, but they were all  already reserved. Eventually, after short hesitating, I agreed to get a female. I thought she would be calmer than a male and finally, perhaps one day we could have puppies.
Cira seemed to me the most livelly and the most curious of all the puppies, and so when she reached 7 weeks of age, I brought her home with me. From the very first days i was taking her often out, I wanted her to get used to all the new things and smells out there, so later she is not affraid of anything. The right socialilsation is very important for Czechoslovakian wolfdog, actually it is one of the most important things ever in the life with wolfdog. And so we walked around the town, around the school, I took her to the tramway, to bus, we watched the workers fixing a road, I took Cira with me to newspaper shop, to the market or to the post office. Of course, most of all the furry creature wanted to meet other dogs.
I trained Cira myself from her early days, mostly the basic things like sit, come, stay and so on. Later we started visiting dog school, eventually even several different dog schools. Such a dog school has the advantage in the fact, that there is many dogs and so the dog has to  learn to pay attention to its master, even if there are distractions. After moving to Belgium, I was going with Cira first to a Police Dog School in Antwerp, later to CCDISH in Brussels.

Cira has succesfully passed Czech obedience tests ZOP and ZZO. We were also joining various competitions and events. Among our other activities in Czech Republic belonged cycling with the dog (today it´s called bikejoring), horse riding and sometimes coursing. Cira likes coursing very much, because she loves to run and she loves to hunt. Eventually, after Czechoslovakian Wofldogs were kindly allowed to come coursing to coursing area of Beringen, we are trying not to miss a single chance to come there. Although officially retired grandmmother, Cira does not care about her age and loves to run at the coursing. After moving out of Brussels to Belgian countryside at spring 2009, another working activity of Cira became guarding the house and garden and keeping her pack in order.
