Tulip approved for breeding PDF Print E-mail

St.Hubertus logoThe Saturday 20th March, 2010, has been a big day for Tulip. We attended to the "Journée de Attestation" organised by St. Hubertus, which is the local cynological organisation - the goal was to receive certificate of breeding approval for Tulip. The Approval day was taking place in Lennik, at premises of Kravaalbos dog school. Tulip happened to be the only pyrenees present, but she did not mind - she quickly made friends with a huge leonberger, while we were waiting to be judged.  There was a bit of dissapointment and frustration later - after one hour of waiting we learned, that the info in the e-mailed confirmation from St. Hubertus was wrong - so Tulip was not going to be judged in ring 3 and by lady judge, but somewhere else and by somebody else. After a bit of chaos, we have got the right info and so  we headed to ring 2 to Mr. Roger Vanhoenacker. Luckily it did not matter we were late and Tulip got judged after a bit of waiting.

Here it is a good moment to say, that Tulip was judged very properly, checked by Mr. Vanhoenacker very carefuly, from all possible angles and with great care. She was very praised for her good pigmentation and overal good looks. The judge was very happy with her, the only little fault he saw in the fact that Tulip did not carry her tail up enough, while running. Strangely enough, perfectly carried tail  is usually the thing judges like most on Tulip, but on this day, Tulip used her tail more as a flag in the strong wind, rather than making a perfect round. Nevertheless, Mr. Vanhoenacker was quite pleased with Tulip and we received the breeding approval.

So, Tulip has made another important step towards her carrier as a breeding female of pedigree puppies. We are very proud of her!
