Walking with pyrs in Wezemaal |

In April we participated on an event organised by the Belgian club for Pyrenees Mountain Dogs. Me and Tulip have met the other pyrs and their owners at parking at Wezemaal (B), and after greeting our friend Hiver (Hiver du Tuc de l´Adosse) and his proud owners we have set on a lovely walk among the fields and orchards above Wezemaal. Yes, indeed - even though Belgium is generally land flat as a board, the organizers of the walk have made sure there was a good hill for us to climb. Perhaps it was meant so that the pyrs felt more like back home, in their mountains. A little problem was, that the weather was nice, a bit too much, so we all were very hot, the dogs of course even more than us, people. However, most of us felt brave and we did walk around 7 km is a fairly nice place, with the various apple trees just about to bloom. After the walk, there was a little refreshment and get-together sitting offered at the nearby pub.
